IRS Publication 557 defines 501(c)(10) organizations as domestic fraternal societies that "operate under the lodge system" and devote their net earnings exclusively to "religious, charitable, scientific, literary, educational, and fraternal purposes".
As a 501(c)(10) organization, we are tax-exempt, meaning the lodge does not pay federal income tax on funds used for our exempt purposes. However, our tax status affects how donors may treat their contributions for tax deduction purposes.

• Use of facilities or equipment: free or discounted rental of theaters, event spaces, or equipment.
